Hi there! I hope your day is going pretty smooth for you, wherever you are. For me, life has been lifing lol. Yes, I just made up a word! In other words, things have been getting real. Most for the better and some things just a bit challenging where I'm having to split my days and really prioritize "Me Time". One thing I've had to remind myself through these last few months is, self-care is necessary. I've also had to ask myself what are some things that I can do for me to keep me standing tall, not stressing. Let me share some tips with you!
Your feelings matter and they are valid.
Be present for yourself and decompress.
Look at your days and ask, "What have I done for myself that does NOT include anyone else?" If you can't think of anything, do something!
Have fun! Grab brunch, binge a movie or book, take a walk, or enjoy a quick getaway.
I recently paid off my car (ayyyee), so I've booked a monthly massage package for myself. It's in the budget lol! Also, decompressing for me may look like, soaking my feet, taking a hot shower and just laying down.
With that being said, I hope you take it easy today.
